Najmeh Pashaei creates cities in nowhere. Her concrete and wooden bridges extend toward the sky. She refers to these as ‘Najvaha’ architecture. Her works, built brick by brick, whisper layers of meanings. She uses industrial materials such as plaster, concrete, resin, rubber and metal to cast everyday objects ad architectural space. Her works capture negative spaces ad use familiar materials and objects in unexpected ways. Najmeh Pashaei, through her sculptures, skillfully bridges the gap between contemporary expression and ancient architectural forms.
